JAMES CARTER is an award-winning children’s poet / non-fiction-writer / musician, as well as an ambassador for National Poetry Day.
A former lecturer in creative writing at the University of Reading, he has visited over 1300 Primary schools in the UK and abroad over the last twenty years.

The Ripple Effect- University of Oxford
The Ripple Effect stems from a Leverhulme Trust-funded research project Ebb & Flow, which studies the many roles that rivers played in the lives of prehistoric communities from 2500-400BC.
